Ello!

Hello hellooo!!! I finally figured out how to use my webcam. Keeping this blog will be much easier now that I will be able to webcam on days I don't have a ton of time.
For those of you who refuse to watch the video... BOOOOO!!! ;p My name is Laura. I'm a big girl. I'm 300 lbs and wanting to get down to 150 lbs.
As of right now I am classified as an overeater. I binge until I throw up some days. Food is an addiction instead of a source of life. I've failed and failed over and over to lose the weight. I will push to make it happen this time.
5t25k stands for five tons to five kilometers. This blog is my way of saying if I can do this, I would like to see you do it to. I want to encourage people to get out there and lose weight. I'll be posting things about nutrition, exercises, items to buy or stay away from, and a little personal info.
I hope that you will all continue to follow me on this journey. At 2 lbs a week it is going to take me over a year. Can you stay with me that long? DO IT!!!!!
I hope everyone is having a wonderful day.
See you tomorrow!

  4. One item I can def recommend is a apir of NIKE+ shoes- the ones with a sensor in them to work with your ipod. (if you own one). I'm soooo competitive and this thing records your distance and then sends that info to your NIKE page ...you can make up or join challenges for you and your friends and in a big challenge compete against others.
It doesnt have to be an expensive thing either- my shoes I got on clearance for 35 dollars and the sensor for it was another 30 dollars and that was over a year ago and it's still going strong.
I also recommend a good set of workout clothes. My personal favs are Danskin Boot-cut pants for cooler months- and the capri pants for the warmer months. And a Danskin top as well. They breathe and stretch and are the most comfortable things EVER and the cost is excellent. I paid 12 dollars each for the bottoms and tops at my local WalMart. And that was REGULAR price- when they go on sale you can get them for like 6 dollars a piece.
    I LOVE them!!!
(And I'm a Sparkie as well!!!)
